Get Fit Pod #124 The Cycling Workout – This is the first of two cycling workouts we will be releasing over the next 30 days.  This one is Long Steady Distance Cycling.  It can be done on a bike outside or on a cycle or spinning machine at home or at the gym.

iPhone Podcast Coming In February

The iPhone Podcast Coming In February – If you have been listening to the podcast you know that an upcoming Get Fit Pod episode will deal with ways you can use your iphone to help you get fit.  In addition to talking about the iphone,  I will be actually recording the podcast on my iphone.   It should be interesting.

I need your help! If you know of or have had experience with any iphone apps or apps available for other ” hand helds”  that are fitness, diet and/or health related, let me know about them.  I’d like to spotlight as many good fitness, diet and health apps as I can on this upcoming episode.  The episode will be released on February 14th and I’ll probably be recording it the week before, so I’ll need any information you can provide by February 7th if,  possible.  You can e-mail me from getfitpod.com or you can make comments to this post.

Get Fit Pod #122 The All Jazz Music (mostly) Interval Training Treadmill Workout -This 30 minute interval training workout for the treadmill is designed for both runners and walkers.  Many listeners have requested a workout with a jazz playlist.  So here it is!  It features a combination of jazz and urban active music.

The workout has both a warm-up and cooldown period.  It features 8 Speed Intervals, with rest intervals in-between.  All of this lasting just over 30 minutes.  Among other songs, the playlist features;  Greg Federico Pacific Coast Highway, Charlie Langer Outside and Never the Same,  Funkasarus Rex Mighty Love, Esteban Mass Aura,  Chamomile Un Pasa Mas, Beau Hall Swing Down, and an after the close song by Andreas Weise, Take Me Higher.
